Bunq are a sustainability focussed bank based out of the Netherlands. Sustainability is at the core of the business strategy where a tree is planted for every 100 euro customers spend with Bunq. Bunq became a unicorn start-up following a €193 million investment that led to a valuation of €1.6 billion, the largest Series A round for a European fintech company.
Evolveable Consulting were engaged to perform a Sustainability gap analysis for Bunq due to increasing regulatory and stakeholder expectations.
This gap analysis process involves several detailed interviews with the executive team and key stakeholders within the company.
A total of 36 gaps and recommendations for action were developed and presented to the Bunq team to increase sustainability performance and impact over the short, medium and long term time horizons.
